Dr. Sagar became involved in his profession because he was always around children as his mother owned a childcare facility, and as a teenager he would help her after school and acquired a natural love for kids. As a result, it was only fitting that he become an educator and his whole platform was about doing what is best for kids and families. It was providing social, emotional and learning support, as well as preparing the kids for college and career in addition to making sure they became productive citizens in the community. He wanted to create a holistic approach to support kids and their families with a goal of creating an organization where families were supported by not just providing children with teaching and learning experiences but also about life, literacy, wellness and self-awareness. Calling his most notable achievement being a first-generation college graduate in his family, Dr. Sager in the next few years will continue his work in education and also to begin his own nonprofit.
