Austin Ladd, Elementary School Teacher at Mustang Public Schools, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mathematics and music elementary school education.

Since 2019, Mr. Ladd has provided superior education as a teacher with the Mustang Public Schools. Her is certified to teach elementary students, early childhood and pre-kindergarten students as well as Intermediate math from fifth through 12th grade and music in the state of Oklahoma. He had obtained a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in music from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. Currently, he is pursuing a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. In what he considers to be a career highlight, Mr. Ladd has been recognized as his district’s Rookie of the Year Award by the Mustang Public Schools.

Besides his commitments as a teacher, Mr. Ladd utilizes his musical skills at the annual event of the National FFA Convention and Expo as an assistant director and pianist for the honor chorus. He is also known for his collaborative efforts with the Poteet Theatre as well as a musician in the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church worship services.

Mr. Ladd became involved in his profession because of his passion and strong desire to make the world a better place and to make a difference in people’s lives. He believes his abilities as a musician would transpire well into the elementary school classroom. In the coming years, Mr. Ladd hopes to continue his work in the classroom as a teacher as well as his work in music education, in which he directed two shows for children’s musical at a theater company. He would also like to direct his own musicals in the future.
