Since 2008, Ms. Rodriguez has excelled as a science teacher with the Atlantic City School District. She is a member of the National Science Teaching Association, the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc., Delta Lambda Chapter, and the New Jersey Education Association. She also serves as the chairperson of the Public Relations Committee at Uptown School Complex in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Prior to her career in education, she prospered with Prudential Insurance Company of America, the largest insurance company in the United States, from 1976 to 1992. Ms. Rodriguez pursued her education at Stockton University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology in 1994 and a Bachelors of Arts in teacher education in 2008.
Ms. Rodriguez attributes her success to remaining positive and surrounding herself with positive people. As a former educator, her mother has been an inspiration for her as well. Her career highlight was being able to teach environmental science at a high school level and being the coordinator of the science fair fat the Uptown School Complex in Atlantic City. In the coming years, Ms. Rodriguez hopes to enter graduate school and study leadership and supervisor skills.
