Paulette Laubsch, Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in higher education.
Since 2001, Ms. Laubsch has flourished as a professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, following many years of experience with the New Jersey Department of Labor. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1966 and a Master of Arts from Rowan University, in 1970. She later completed postgraduate studies with Nova Southeastern University in 1994.
With the New Jersey Department of Labor, Ms. Laubsch provided superior service as a senior claims examiner from 1969 to 1975, a manager from 1975 to 1988, a district supervisor from 1988 to 1992, a regional manager from 1992 to 1994 and an assistant commissioner beginning that year. She subsequently pursued the field of education because she was a teacher for a few years after graduating from college before working for the government, earned a couple of advanced degrees, and eventually began teaching in a college setting, incorporating her love for education and helping people. During her time with the New Jersey Department of Labor, Ms. Laubsch earned a Master of Public Administration from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
Ms. Laubsch’s honors include a Faculty Award for Service from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2014 and accolades from the American Academy of Certified Public Managers and the New Jersey Certified Public Manager Society. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she is affiliated with the American Association of University Women, the American Academy of Certified Public Managers and the American Society for Public Administration. Attributing her success to hard work and persistence, Ms. Laubsch is hoping for continued professional growth in the coming years.
