Kristin Rene Combs, M.S. Ed., Strategic Consultant at ABL, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in teaching and education administration.
After initially obtaining a bachelor’s degree in physics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2009, Ms. Combs continued her education with a master’s degree in secondary education from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 2010.
From 2011 to 2021, Ms. Combs excelled in various roles with the School District of Philadelphia. Between 2010 and 2016, she taught classes of 15 to 35 students in algebra, pre-calculus, physics, physical science, personal finance, senior research seminar, and AVID with the Penn Treaty School and Vaux High School, where she also oversaw administrative functions, managed administration and analysis of standardized tests and designed and implemented a financial literacy program in partnership with Telestrat Education.
As director of school organization from 2016 to 2018, Ms. Combs redesigned the high school course catalog, assisted in the launch of Infinite Campus SIS, maintained project plans for scheduling and grading and established and oversaw the implementation of budget guidelines. Serving as executive director of school organization from 2018 to 2021, Ms. Combs supervised scheduling and academic planning as well as transcripts, grading, credits and graduation preparation. Beginning in August 2021, Ms. Combs currently prospers as a strategic consultant with ABL (Advanced Bioscience Laboratories), a leading biotech corporation providing contract manufacturing and laboratory research services to advance leading vaccines and therapies from clinical development to the commercial market.
Ms. Combs attributes her success to her vision and mentorship with other like-minded individuals and a passion for education. In the coming years, her goal is to be able to lead as a superintendent of a school district.
