Working for the Math Counts program from 1988 until the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Ms. Kraft was able to bring some of her students to national competitions.

Ms. Kraft’s professional memberships include the National Education Association, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Vermont Council of Teachers of Mathematics. At Springfield School District, she cites the school’s superior administration that encouraged everyone to collaborate and work as a team.

Having recently announced her retirement, Ms. Kraft intends to do some traveling in the coming years. She has found several letters sent by her father during World War II and hopes to find a publisher to release them in book form.
