I-Chieh Hsu, Distinguished Professor at the National Changhua University of Education, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of human resource management.
Having accrued nearly two decades of inimitable expertise in his chosen field, Dr. Hsu has garnered a laudable reputation in his role as a professor of strategy at the Graduate Institute of Human Resource Management at the National Changhua University of Education (NCUE) since 2010, having previously found success as an assistant professor between 2002 and 2006. Dr. Hsu was the Head at the Graduate Institute of Human Resource Management, NCUE, between 2014 and 2018, and has helped the Institute gain substantial improvement in reputation. Subsequently, he was awarded Distinguished Professorship by NCUE, after a comprehensive review by an external review board, for his respectable dedication and distinguished service. Particularly well versed in human resources management and organization studies, Dr. Hsu has concurrently contributed his efforts as a researcher and teacher on behalf of his students.
Well regarded for his scholarly output, Dr. Hsu has contributed to more than 20 scientific articles, which have been published through various pertinent journals. Among them, his work has appeared on the pages of Technological Forecasting and Social Change, the International Journal of Human Resource Management, the Human Resource Management Journal, Human Relations, the Asia Pacific Journal of Management and the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, among others. Likewise, Dr. Hsu has spoken and lectured before various academic and industry conferences and symposia.
Dr. Hsu’s exemplary performance in the field was born of his academic journey, during which time he studied at the University of Manchester Alliance Business School, where he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in 1998. To commemorate his subsequent career accomplishments, he notably received Best Paper awards for his work in research in 2004, 2006 and 2018. Additionally, for his service in the Republic of China Armed Forces, he received the Distinguished Army Service Medal in 1993.
As a commitment to his field, Dr. Hsu has maintained his activity with a number of relevant organizations. Among them, he is a member of the Academy of Management, a professional association of scholars of management, which seeks to serve as a forum for advancing ideas and spurring discussion on good management practices. Outside of his career endeavors, Dr. Hsu enjoys such avocations as traveling and mountain hiking.
