Ms. Machado is an attorney and partner at Morrison & Reynolds, a general practice law office in Annandale, Virginia, where she began as an associate. Her practice focuses on estate planning, probate and business law in northern Virginia and region of the District of Columbia, and her responsibilities include representing elderly clients, handling finances and providing counsel to small businesses. Ms. Machado is proud to serve as one of the pioneer attorneys in her area for Spanish-speaking businesses and entrepreneurs and maintains close working relationships with many of her clients, some of whom visit her on a weekly basis.
In addition to her work in law Ms. Machado is a former adjunct professor at Northern Community College. She has volunteered on behalf of various organizations, including the Northern Virginia Family Service for 10 years. Ms. Machado earned her Juris Doctor at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caravas, Venezuela, in 1997, and received an award from the school for her commitment to the Student Council. Following this accomplishment, she went on to immigrate to the United States and studied at Georgetown University, attaining a Master of Laws in 2000. Looking toward the future, Ms. Machado hopes to continue excelling in her legal practice and train her successor.
