Yoshikazu Kasahara, MBA, MA, President and Chief Executive Officer at Bart Corporation and Quick Method Association, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in language education.
As the president and chief executive officer of Bart Corporation and Quick Method Association, Mr. Kasahara has excelled in the media and language learning industries since the 1990s. A widely recognized author throughout Japan, China and South Korea, he has sold 1.6 million copies of his books since 1997, as well numerous English-learning CDs and other products. Mr. Kasahara presently has 30 books in total, which are geared toward teaching readers how to learn the English language.
Among his many bestselling books, Mr. Kasahara authored “Kasahara’s Quick English for Everyday Conversation,” “Kasahara’s Quick English: Just Listen! For Travel!” and “Kasahara’s Quick English: How to Respond Quickly.” Supporting his successful writing career, he has more than 45,000 subscribers on YouTube. Mr. Kasahara’s videos have been viewed more than 3.3 million times. Moreover, he has hosted numerous webinars on his products and services. Likewise, he has registered patents in Japan, Australia, and Korea, as well as two registered trademarks in Japan.
Alongside his primary roles, Mr. Kasahara has served as an international representative to the Queensland University of Technology since 2005 and a representative at Hawaii Pacific University since 2002. Earlier, he found success as a lecturer at the Southern College of Business, Tokyo Industrial Technical College, Daiichi Institute of Technology and Eishin International Technical College. To remain aware of developments in his field, he currently holds membership with the English Linguistic Society of Japan and the English Education Institute of Japan. Notably, Mr. Kasahara was the recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021.
Mr. Kasahara earned a Bachelor of Arts in literature from Kokugakuin University in Japan in 1986 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Southern College of Business in the United States in 1993. In addition, he later attained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire in 1995 and a Master of Arts in English language teaching from the University of Southampton in 1996. Looking toward the future, Mr. Kasahara aims to expand into an online education platform using videos and online learning projects, which he believes is more effective compared to physical books, to teach adults and children.
