Dr. Margareta A. Greeley-Potter, a Professor at Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of fine arts.

Drawing on more than four decades of experience as a crafter of fine art, Dr. Greeley-Potter has garnered a laudable reputation as an adjunct professor at Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey, since 2011. Bearing a particular specialization in painting and sculpting, as well as the psychology of art and mental processes involved with creativity, she previously worked as a teacher at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey between 1989 and 2017. In a career suffused with highlights, Dr. Greeley-Potter is most proud to have changed the lives of her students through the medium of creative expression.

A prolific artist who is best noted for the way in which her sculptures accentuate contemporary spaces, Dr. Greeley-Potter’s work has been exhibited at such venues as the Lever Brothers Park Avenue Gallery in New York City. She is a multimedia artist who has displayed her oil paintings, pastels, and charcoals at the corporate headquarters of AT&T, Panasonic and the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, among others. Well regarded for her incredible expertise, she has been invited to deliver lectures on the New Jersey Television Networks. Likewise, Dr. Greeley-Potter has written a number of scholarly articles, including on the mental imaging techniques of children. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi National Honor Society, was a member of Junior League of Women of America and received her doctorate from Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey.

To commemorate her accomplishments, Dr. Greeley-Potter has garnered several awards, including for sculpture, drawing, and painting by the New Jersey Art Association since 2016. Moreover, she has won accolades from the Millburn Art Association and the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. In March 2021 she was awarded Honorable Mention for sculpture by the AAR Association of Roxbury, New Jersey, and was accepted into the open juried exhibition for CLWAC Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club of New York City. Noted for her work as an Interior Designer, Dr. Greeley-Potter along with her real estate licensed husband, has also received a National Award from the Realtors Directory of America.
