Edward Jackson, ABD, Consultant at ESL Consultant LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Backed by an Associate of Arts in liberal arts focusing in Italian language and culture from Bronx Community College, Mr. Jackson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Italian language and culture from Hunter College in 1977. By 1979, he had furthered his education by earning a Master’s in English-as-a-second-language, which also came from Hunter College. Later, in 1990, Mr. Jackson acquired a professional diploma from the City College of New York. In the years that followed, he was certified as a licensed Italian language teacher, an English-as-a-second-language teacher, and a registered business school teacher. Since 1987, Mr. Jackson has excelled as an Italian translator for Bronx Clinical Services.
Outside of his primary ventures, Mr. Jackson has loaned his services to Touro College as an adjunct professor from 1985 until 1990. He currently works with the Riverdale Community College as a consultant for the English-as-a-second-language program, where he has been since 1991. Moreover, in 1993, Mr. Jackson served as the newsletter editor for the American Italian Cultural Roundtable. He maintains affiliation with numerous professional organizations, including the New York State Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers, and the Gamma Kappa Alpha National Honor Society. As a testament to Mr. Jackson’s success, he is featured in the 25th edition of Who’s Who in the East.
