Grayce Elizabeth Cramer, Retired Educator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in elementary education.
Ms. Cramer’s career is a direct result of her love for the teachers she had growing up. Throughout her entire life, she has never felt as comfortable as she has in a classroom, which motivated her to enroll at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. By 1991, she had graduated with a Bachelor of Science in education, summa cum laude. She was then certified as a collegiate professional and a teacher in the states of Virginia and Pennsylvania. One year later, she began her career as a second-grade teacher at Northumberland County Public School. Building off her prior experience as a librarian at Hallstead Christian Academy, Ms. Cramer became the child study chair at Northumberland County Public School in 1999. In this role, she demonstrated consistent success until 2011.
Outside of her professional ventures, Ms. Cramer has maintained an active civic lifestyle throughout her adult life. She served as a member of the board of directors for the Homeowners Association and the Sherwood Forest Shores Association from 2017 until 2020. Earlier, from 2002 until 2010, she worked with the March of Dimes. In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Cramer has made 600 masks for front-line workers. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, gardening, reading and traveling. Looking toward the future, she has a goal of reading 100 books per year for as long as she can. Moreover, she would like to travel and see the world when it is safe to do so. As a testament to her success, Ms. Cramer is featured in the 60th edition of Who’s Who in America.
