Growing up, Mr. Ocampo always wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. After earning a Bachelor of Science from South University, he attended Western Governor’s University, graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2020. A certified emergency nurse, Mr. Ocampo has excelled as a professor at Westcoast University for the past four years. He remains there today, as he thoroughly enjoys being able to leave an impact on and inspire his students to pursue a career in healthcare.

A member of the Nursing Association, Mr. Ocampo attributes his success to the ceaseless effort he puts into his work. In his educational endeavors, he considers one of his greatest accomplishments to be his connection with Senator Connie Leyva in regards to women’s rights and education. His motto is, “Learn for the love of learning and teach for the love of others to learn.” Looking toward the future, Mr. Ocampo hopes to continue teaching at the university level and perhaps venture into politics.
