Kareen Morales Vincent, Aerospace Manufacturing and Maintenance Technology at Core Plus at Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in aerospace technology education.

At the age of 15, Ms. Morales Vincent recalls a boy explaining the Pythagorean Theorem to her, as well as his studies in aerospace. Intrigued, she went on to pursue a career in the industry and earned an Associate of Arts from the Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology in 2000. Diving into the field, in 2001, she joined Boeing Aerospace Operations in Mississippi as an aircraft maintenance technician and, by 2003, she served in the same capacity for L3 Communications. From 2007 to 2014, Ms. Morales Vincent returned to Boeing in Washington where she worked on the 777-767 tankers and 787 programs. Pivoting to the realm of education, since 2018, she has served as an associate faculty member at Everett Community College and as an aerospace manufacturing and maintenance educator at Sno-Isle TECH Skill Center.

Looking back on her illustrious career, Ms. Morales Vincent is most proud of introducing opportunities within the field of aviation to students who are unsure of their future paths. She believes offering insight, encouragement, and light to the industry is important as it is often reflected as a stringent corporate institution. A member of the Civil Air Patrol, Ms. Morales Vincent attributes her success to grandmother, Martina Cordoba, who has supported her in all of her endeavors. In five years’ time, she hopes to adjust the level and format of material for her students to make their transition from high school to college seamless. In addition to her primary roles in the aerospace industry, Ms. Morales Vincent has also been a caregiver for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services since 2016 and a designer lighting associate at Lamps Plus since 2017.
