Paul V. Orsini Jr., Music Educator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Mr. Orsini found his passion for music at a young age. It was after he witnessed his neighbor play the trumpet that he decided music would be his life. He proceeded to attend the State University of New York at Potsdam, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in music education. In 1979, he concluded his educational pursuits by acquiring a Master of Music in performance from Syracuse University. Shortly afterward, he was certified as a K-12 Music Teacher in the state of New York.
In the earlier years of his career, Mr. Orsini gained experience as a performer. He worked with Mirage, the Carmen Cannavo Show, and as a freelance entertainer in Albany, New York. In 1983, he got involved in the education sector of his industry as a substitute teacher for the Suburban County Schools. He remained there until 1986, which is when he was hired at the Corinth School District as a teacher. He gained experience there for one year before relocating to the Shenendehowa School District in 1987. He has remained there since, continuing to enlighten his students about the wonders of the music industry. Looking back on his illustrious career thus far, Mr. Orsini considers the highlight to be longevity, as he loves what he does.
