Carol Ann Boyles-Jernigan, Career Planning Administrator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership.

Ms. Boyles-Jernigan has always had an aptitude for giving career advice. A graduate of Keuka College, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in French, Latin, and Psychology. She proceeded to further her education by earning a master’s in guidance and counseling from the University of Florida in 1957. In the following years, she acquired a national certification from the Christian Women’s Job Corps, as well as becoming a certified teacher in the state of Florida. Throughout her prosperous career, she has brought her keen insights and passion for counseling to numerous institutions. These include, but are not limited to, the University of North Florida, Florida Community College, and Florida State University. She retired in 2003.

In light of her accomplishments, Ms. Boyles-Jernigan has received many awards. In 1991, she was presented with the John T. Brownlee Leadership Award from the Florida Association of Colleges and Employers. More recently, in 2016, Keuka College honored her with the Award for Effective Use of Retirement Years. Throughout her career, Ms. Boyles-Jernigan was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Society for Experimental Education, and the Winthrop Society, among several other professional organizations. Outside of her primary roles, she has additionally found success as an author. Her most recent publication, “The Safety Deposit Shock, Your Secrets Will Find You Out,” is available where books are sold.

As a further testament to her success, Ms. Boyles-Jernigan is featured in numerous honors publications, including Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and Who’s Who of American Women.
