Ms. Milligan was inspired to pursue a career in the field from an early age, having always had a desire to help people and sensing a need for adequate and competent providers who are effective communicators. She first pursued an education with Louisiana Technical University, completing a Bachelor of Science in biology. She continued her studies with the school, completing a Bachelor of Science in medical technology. She then joined the University of North Texas Health Science Center, earning a Master of Science in 2013. For her contributions, Ms. Milligan was named to the Leadership Lauderdale Class of 2020.
