Noel Thompson, PhD, Consultant at House of Moses, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in political science and macroeconomics.
Inspired by his fascination with politics and macroeconomics, Dr. Thompson pursued a formal education at Jackson State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1962. Simultaneously, he received a Master of Science from Tuskegee University and later secured another from Texas A&M University in 1967. Furthermore, Dr. Thompson concluded his academic efforts with a PhD from Auburn University in 2004.
At the start of his career, Dr. Thompson contributed as a research assistant at Tuskegee University and Texas A&M University between 1964 and 1979. During this time, he also taught at South Carolina State University for three years. From 2003 to 2006, he served as a consultant for the County Research Center in Clayton, Alabama, further assuming the position of assistant professor with Tuskegee University in 2005. In addition to his primary endeavors, Dr. Thompson has excelled as a consultant for the House of Moses since 2009. He is very proud of living in his community of Tuskegee, Alabama, since 1970, and is very active in the community and with many nonprofit organizations. He is proud to have assisted 18 organizations in receiving their 501C status. For his accomplishments, he has been a recipient of accolades from the International Scholars Association in 1990. Outside of work, he enjoys writing, gardening, baseball and soccer in his spare time.
