Celebrating 30 wonderful years in education, Mrs. Woolridge taught music at Colonial Heights City Public Schools in Colonial Heights, Virginia between 1977 and 2007. A talented musician, she was equally known for her passion for teaching as she was for her love of children. In pursuing this ambition, she attended Longwood University, from which she attained a Bachelor of Music Education Degree in 1977. One of the highlights of her teaching career was becoming a member of Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary for Women Educators, an organization dedicated to educational excellence, altruism and world understanding.
