Michele Gephart, Teacher with Buffalo Public Schools, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Literacy.
With more than 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Gephart has been a literacy specialist and remedial reading teacher for elementary school with Buffalo Public Schools since 2001. Prior to obtaining her current roles, she was a teacher with St. Benedict’s from 2001 to 2002, and with St. Bernard’s from 1999 to 2001. From 1992 to 1998, she was a teacher with Our Lady of Czestochowa School, having been a teacher with Queen of Martyrs School in 1992. Earlier in her career, she was a reading support teacher with the Stanley M. Makowski Early Childhood Center #99 and IB World School.
Ms. Gephart first pursued an education with Villa Maria College, where she obtained an Associate of Arts in 1989. She continued her studies with Daemen College, completing a Bachelor of Education in 1992. She then joined Canisius College, earning a Master of Arts in reading education in 1995. She has been certified as a reading teacher, and she holds nursery, kindergarten, and grades 1 through 6 certifications.
