John Endicott, PhD, Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Academia.
With 50 years of professional experience, Dr. Endicott has excelled as a professor of international relations at the Georgia Institute of Technology since 1989, where he was also active as the founding director of the Center for International Strategy Technology and Policy from 1989 to 2007. In addition to his primary roles, he served as the president and the vice chancellor of Woosong University in 2019, for which he flourished as the president in 2009. He further worked as a member of the Olympics attaché for the Mongolian Olympic Committee from 1995 to 1996. Prior to obtaining these positions, Dr. Endicott was the director of the Institute of National Strategic Studies from 1986 to 1989, the director of the research directorate at National Defense University from 1983 to 1986 and the associate dean of National War College from 1981 to 1983.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Endicott found success as the director of international affairs and Air Force plans at the Pentagon from 1978 to 1981, as well as a deputy, an Air Force Representative and the military staff committee member for the United Nations Security Council from 1979 to 1981. He previously held the positions of a deputy and the head of political science and philosophy at the United States Air Force Academy from 1969 to 1978. He notably holds a Doctor of Philosophy, a Master of Arts in international relations, and a Master of Arts in law and diplomacy from Tufts University in addition to a Master of Arts in history from Omaha University and a Bachelor of Arts from the Ohio State University. Dr. Endicott has also completed coursework at National War College, Air Command Staff College, Air War College and Squadron Officer School.
