Dr. Laszlo Zaborsky, PhD, MD, Distinguished Professor and Neuroscientist at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements and leadership in academia.

With more than 35 years of professional experience, Dr. Zaborsky has been a neuroscientist and distinguished professor at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey since 2014. Prior to obtaining his current roles, he held a number of other positions with the school, including faculty chair from 2016 to 2017, a professor from 2004 to 2017 and associate professor from 1993 to 2004. Earlier in his career, he was an associate professor at the University of Virginia from 1981 to 1993.

Dr. Zaborsky first pursued an education at Semmelweis Medical School, where he obtained an MD in 1969. He continued his studies at the school, completing a PhD in 1981. He later joined the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, earning a DSc in 1999. For his contributions to the field, he has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who in the World.
