Linda Bratrud, Former French Teacher with Peninsula High School, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in French.
A leading expert in education, Ms. Bratrud was a French teacher with Peninsula High School from 1984 to 1993. Prior to obtaining this position, she was a client executive assistant with the Frank Russell Company from 1981 to 1984 and a French instructor with Tacoma Community College from 1970 to 1971. Earlier in her career, she was a French teacher with South High School from 1967 to 1968. In addition to her primary roles, she was the owner of Smith, Settle, Bingham, and Wagner Book Sellers from 1980 to 1990.
Ms. Bratrud first pursued an education with the University of Grenoble, where she obtained a 1st Diploma in 1964. She continued her studies with the University of Paris, receiving a 2nd Diploma in 1965. She then relocated to the United States, completing a Bachelor of Arts with the University of Washington in 1966. She later joined the University of Puget Sound, earning a Master of Business Administration in 1987.
