DeLoy Allen Titkemeier, Retired Teacher at Ansley Public School, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education.

Inspired by his high school math teacher, Mr. Titkemeier took an interest in teaching upon graduation. He attended Kearney State College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in education in 1966. Following this achievement, he was hired by the Unified School District #237 in Smith Center, Kansas, from 1966 to 1967. Soon thereafter, Mr. Titkemeier joined Ansley Public School District in Nebraska as a teacher for nine years, later leaving to work as a warehouse foreman for the Sharp Seed Company in Healy, Kansas, for several months in 1976. During the year, he held various positions with a number of organizations, additionally earning a Master of Science in education from Kearney State College in 1972.

Mr. Titkemeier returned to Ansley Public School District the following year, where he continued teaching until his retirement in 2006. Throughout his impressive career, he is most proud of watching his former students become math teachers and lead successful careers of their own. In addition to his primary endeavors, he operates his family’s farm and previously served as a member of the board of directors for Nebraska Lutheran High School at Waco, NE. As a testament to his prestigious career, Mr. Titkemeier has been featured in editions of Who’s Who in American Education and Who’s Who in the Midwest.
