Ke Li, Professor at Nihon University, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of economic and business management education.
As an expert in his field, Dr. Li holds myriad degrees from a variety of universities. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in economics from Nanjing University, and continued his education at Monash University, where he earned a PhD in economics. After earning his doctorate, Dr. Li studied as a post-doctoral research fellow in economics at Monash University, Australian National University, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Dr. Li is a professor in the graduate school of business at Nihon University. Additionally, he has worked as an assistant and associate professor at St. Joseph’s University and the University of Pennsylvania. He is the lecturing professor of the department of economics at St. Joseph’s University, and is the chairman and director of the Japan-China Management School. Dr. Li works as a visiting and adjunct professor of the City University of Hong Kong and is a senior research associate and advisor to a variety of Japanese and international think tanks, government agencies, and business entities.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Li has been recognized for his excellence with many awards. In 1998, he earned a National Research Prize from Australian National University. He also earned a National Research Prize from Nihon University in 2003, and from the Ministry of Education in 2006. He received a senior research fellowship from the City University of Hong Kong in 2005, from the World Bank in 2004, and from the Asian Development Bank in 2015. In 2016, Dr. Li also earned a National Education and Culture Award from the Japanese Royal Family.
Dr. Li is a fellow of the Entrepreneurs Association, in which he served as a member of the standing committee in 2004. He is an associate of the Asian Development Bank, Monash University, and the American Economic Association. In addition, he is the honorary president and serves on the board of directors for the Japan Chinese MBA Association. Dr. Li’s achievements include research in East Asian economic integration and cooperation, pricing models for eCommerce, institutional economics, and infra-marginal economics, among other areas. As a testament to his success and expertise, Dr. Li was featured in the ninth edition of Who’s Who in Science and Engineering.
