Ching-Wu Chu, Education Educator at National Taiwan Ocean University, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in operations management.
Before starting his career, Dr. Chu matriculated at the National Taiwan Ocean University, where he received a BA in 1986. Continuing with his education, he came to America and attended the University of Mississippi, earning an MBA in 1991. From there, Dr. Chu went to Kent State University, where he earned a PhD in operations management in 1995. Upon graduating, he went back to his alma mater, the National Taiwan Ocean University in Taiwan to become an associate professor. He held this position from 1995 to 2004, when he moved up to full professor, a position he has held since 2004. During his time as an assistant professor, he also held the position of director of the editorial publication section of the National Taiwan Ocean University from 2000 to 2003. Throughout his career, Dr. Chu has written numerous research papers in his field.
As a testament to his success, Dr. Chu received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. He was also inducted as a member of the Institute of Operations Research and Management Sciences. Dr. Chu is listed in the first and second edition of Who’s Who in Asia and is listed in 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th edition of Who’s Who in the World. In his spare time, he enjoys playing table tennis.
