Beverly Oglesby, Primary School Educator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in elementary education.

Throughout her career, the greatest reward for Mrs. Oglesby has been hearing of the continued success of students that have long passed through her classroom door. With her stellar track record of preparing young minds for the world ahead of them, she has been recognized as an Outstanding Educator, as an S. Bryan Jenning Elementary School Teacher of the Year, and received a Clay County Excel Award. Mrs. Oglesby started at S. Bryan Jennings Elementary School in 1971 and has remained a beloved teacher at the school since.

Mrs. Oglesby prepared for her career in education in her own academic pursuits. She first received a Bachelor of Science from Florida Memorial University in 1971 and later received an MEd from the University of North Florida in 1982. In her career, she has maintained professional affiliation with the Early Childhood Association of Florida, the Southern Early Childhood Association, the National Association for Education of Young Children, Phi Delta Kappa, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, the National Council of Negro Women and the Florida Memorial University Alumni among many other organizations. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Oglesby is working to facilitate a Bible study fellowship international home student program.
