Vera Riedl, Retired Art Teacher at Resurrection Art School, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in arts.
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Ms. Riedl was an art teacher with Resurrection Catholic School from 1997 to 2000. Prior to obtaining this position, she was a teller for new accounts at First National Bank from 1988 to 1990. Earlier in her career, she served as a substitute teacher at St. Charles and St. Mary’s from 1983 to 1988 and with Los Lunas Public School from 1979 to 1988. Ms. Riedl believes it is paramount to give back to the community and does whatever it takes to make her community a better place to live.
In addition to her primary roles, Ms. Riedl has been an active member of her community. A member of the Domestic Violence Board, she has served as community chair and youth exchange officer for Rio Rancho Rotary Club. She has also been affiliated with the Rio Grande Artists Association and the New Mexico Art League. She holds a degree in interior decorating from Stratford Career Institute and she is a certified Reiki practitioner by the Miami Valley Reiki Center.
Throughout her career, Ms. Riedl has been recognized for her contributions, including having been named Woman of the Year. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of American Women. Looking toward the future, Ms. Riedl intends on working on another community project – to help teenagers to transition from teenagers into adulthood. She plans on building a clubhouse where they can continue to develop their minds and physical abilities as well. This clubhouse will include amenities such as a band area, soundproof rooms for studying, golf simulator, and several other fun activities.
