Victoria Dorsey, home school director and toddler teacher, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in preschool education.
With 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Dorsey has been a home school director and toddler teacher since 2016. Prior to obtaining her current roles, she held a number of positions with Young Toddlers Stepping Stones Child Department Center from 2006 to 2015, including administrative assistant, master teacher trainer, pre-K lead teacher, and lead teacher. She was previously owner and director of Nana’s Loft Preschool from 2001 to 2005 and a juvenile delinquent teacher with Orleans Parish School Youth Study Center from 1997 to 2003.
From 1989 to 2001, Ms. Dorsey was a pre-K teacher with Children’s Place Limited, having been a young toddler’s teacher with Glapion’s Preschool Academy from 1984 to 1989. Earlier in her career, she was an assistant director and teacher at Little One’s World Preschool from 1979 to 1983. She has completed coursework with CETA and Southern University. Mrs. Dorsey has always loved children and chose her career to facilitate the growth of young minds and is proud of the impact she has had on her students. A respected voice in her community, Ms. Dorsey is a member of the Association of Childhood Education. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her contributions and has been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
