Anne Primavera, Educational Administrator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in academic administration and coordination.

For Dr. Primavera, providing students with the best education possible has always been a top priority in her life. In her career, she has worked in a variety of positions in schools, all with the intention of making the classroom experience the most rewarding one possible. Since 1994, she has served as the District Language Arts Coordinator for the Brentwood School District in New York. Prior to this position, she provided her skills as the assistant principal of Lawrence Road Junior High School from 1992 to 1993. She worked in the Brentwood School District from 1974 to 1988, starting as a secondary teacher in English and then as a secondary reading consultant and secondary administrator. Earlier in her career, Dr. Primavera was an assistant professor at St. Francis College, an elementary teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa Park, NY and a secondary reading consultant at Massapequa High School.

Knowing at an early age she was destined to work in education, Dr. Primavera first attended St. John’s University to receive a Bachelor of Arts in 1966. She continued at Hofstra University, earning a Master of Science in 1974 and later a diploma in educational administration in 1981. In 1993, she returned to St. John’s University and earned an EdD. In addition to her career in education, Dr. Primavera is an experienced business executive and has worked as the Vice President of Gerardi Corp. Outside of her academic pursuits, Dr. Primavera has maintained professional affiliation with a variety of organizations that have aided in her development. These organizations include the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the American Federation of Teachers, the International Reading Association, the National Organization on Legal Problems in America, the School Administrators Association of New York State and the University Club. She was featured in the fourth edition of Who’s Who in American Education and in the 17th edition of Who’s Who of American Women.
