Carol J. Dahle, Retired Educator and Choir Director at Hudson School District, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in music and education.

Utilizing more than four decades of industry experience, Ms. Dahle is a respected and dedicated music educator who has been serving as the choir director of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1984. Commencing her career as a band and choir director at Allen High School in Robeline, LA, in 1974, she spent the majority of her career as a middle school choir director and teacher at the Hudson School District in Wisconsin for 40 years, retiring from her role in 2016. Alongside her primary career endeavors, Ms. Dahle previously served as the first vice president of the Hudson Women’s Club, the vice president of the Glacier Park Foundation, and a board member of the music council for the Phipps Center for the Arts, a position she has fulfilled since 1983.

Ms. Dahle holds a Bachelor of Music in applied music from Northwest State University and a Bachelor of Science in music education from St. Cloud State University. She subsequently completed postgraduate coursework at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls the following year. She has since had numerous guest directing appearances for the Wisconsin School Music Association, the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association and the Wisconsin Music Festival. Likewise, she has maintained affiliation with the National Association for Music Education, the St. Croix Valley Music Education Association and the Kinnickinnic Historical Association.

In recognition of her exceptional contributions to the music education industry, Ms. Dahle has accrued numerous accolades. The recipient of a Stanley Custer Outstanding Service Award and an Outstanding Church Musician Award from the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association in 2016 and 2017, respectively, she also received a 5-Star Award for four consecutive years from the organization from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, she was honored with a Star Excellence Award from the Hudson Education Foundation in 1998 and was the recipient of an endowed soprano chair for the Middle Level State Honors Choir with the Wisconsin School Music Association. Notably, she has been highlighted in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education and Who’s Who of American Women.
