Carolyn Brothers, Retired Elementary and Secondary Educator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education.

Now retired, Ms. Brothers dedicated decades of her life to education, as both a teacher and an administrator. Most recently, Ms. Brothers served as a representative for the Garden Grove Educated Associate, holding that position from 1989 to 2012. Additionally, she also worked with the CASA recently, serving as a special advocate as well as an educational representative. Throughout her career, she has also worked as an associate professor and Director at Chapman University, and also served as a resource specialist at the San Jacinto and Garden Grove Unified School Districts.

Ms. Brothers began her own education at the University of California, Irvine, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1978. She then Completed a Master of Arts in School Counseling at the University of La Verne in 1988. She would go on to be certified as a resource specialist, and hold several other certifications in the education field. She has served as president and state treasurer of the California Association of Resource Specialists, and has maintained affiliation with a number of professional organizations. She has been honored and recognized many times throughout her career, receiving awards such as the Junior League Shell Award, and she has been featured in numerous editions of Who’s Who in American Education, and Who’s Who in America.
