Debra Schall, Secondary School Educator at Oshkosh Area Public Schools, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of high school education.
Dedicated to cultivating the minds of her students, Ms. Schall has spent her career as an English, reading and history secondary education teacher for the Oshkosh Area School District. Teaching from 1974 until 2010, she undertook other responsibilities such as coaching basketball, volleyball and track. Additionally, she has served as a member of the school improvement and effectiveness committee of Oshkosh. For her entire life, Ms. Schall has been steadfast in her resolve to become a teacher and earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Arts from Marian College, making her dream a reality.
Ms. Shall has had a wonderful experience teaching and takes enormous pride in her students’ successes. In recognition of her excellence, she has been named the Middle School Teacher of the Year by the Oshkosh Area School District from 1996 to 1997 and holds membership with the Wisconsin Education Association, the Oshkosh Education Association, the Wisconsin Association of Middle Level Education and the National Education Association. Ms. Schall has been lauded with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in the Midwest and Who’s Who of American Women.
