Drawing upon more than 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Brannon spent the majority of her career as a professor with the Alamo Community College District for 27 fruitful years. In addition, she lent her expertise to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as an instructor for four years, teaching both nursing and history. Currently retired from education, she is the owner of Brannon Properties LLC, a real estate business that works with both commercial and residential properties.
To prepare for her illustrious career, Ms. Brannon earned a master’s degree from Fairfield University in 1973. However, her greatest accomplishment was obtaining a patent for the Sa-Mitch patient hospital gown and a copyright for the Brannon Life Contentment Scale. She also enjoys writing, having previously written for newspapers and colleges. She is a member of such prestigious organizations as the American Association of University Professors, the National Association of Realtors and the National League for Nursing.
Having formerly served as a stand-up comic in the past, Ms. Brannon is a versatile figure in her many fields. Looking toward the future, she intends to write books. She has been highlighted in the 25th edition of Who’s Who of American Women and several editions of Who’s Who in America.
