Jeanne Feltner, Retired Mathematics Educator at Perry County Central High School, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of education.
Dedicated to ensuring the success of each of her students, Ms. Felter has spent her career developing exciting teaching approaches for her students. She has inspired others, serving as a teacher at Cordia High School from 1973 to 2004 and at Perry County Central High School from 2005 to 2006. During her time at Cordia High School, she served as the coach of the Academy Team from 1996 to 2004. In preparation for her career, Ms. Felter earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Berea College and a Master of Education from Morehead State University.
Ms. Feltner taught in a temporary position and upon discovering she enjoyed teaching, she decided to commit herself to the profession. She earned a teaching certification at Morehead State University and is delighted to have been a teacher for four decades. Caring deeply for her students, she considers a career highlight to be reveling in her students’ accomplishments as many of them have achieved lifelong success and happiness. Recognized for her notoriety and invaluable contributions to the field of education, Ms. Feltner holds membership with Phi Kappa Phi, has been awarded The Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who of American Women.
