Dianne E. Irwin, Ph.D., Consultant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in psychology and higher education.
Drawing upon 45 years of professional experience, Dr. Irwin is a distinguished educator who commenced her career as a lecturer and instructor at California State University in San Bernardino, CA, in 1973. Elevating to the rank of psychometrist at the university from 1974 to 1978, she subsequently served as the director of the learning center from 1974 to 1984. Thereafter, she transferred to Glendale Community College, where she acted in such positions as assistant chair of social sciences from 2002 to 2004, assistant department chair from 1992 to 2005, and professor of psychology from 1985 to 2007. Since 2007, she has been a consultant to students on dissertations and statistics.
A frequent speaker in her field, Dr. Irwin pursued formal education prior to delving into her career, earning an Associate of Arts from Los Angeles Valley College in 1970. She then received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from California State University in 1972 and 1974, respectively. She concluded her education in 1979, when she obtained a Doctor of Philosophy from the United States International University. She has since contributed myriad articles to professional journals and has authored, co-authored, and edited three books.
Dr. Irwin maintains affiliation with the American Personnel and Guidance Association, the American Psychological Association, the Student Personnel Association, the Western College Reading Association and the Western Psychological Association. As a testament to her professional success, she has been highlighted in the first edition of Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America and the seventh edition of Who’s Who in American Education, as well as multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the West and Who’s Who of American Women.
