Noted as a pioneer in the field of psycho-acoustic research and as a world-renowned practitioner of psycho-acoustic healing, Mr. Kenyon is currently thriving as a psychotherapist. He has held the title since 1983, was the director of Acoustic Brain Research from 1983 to 1993, and is the co-founder of The Sound Healing Foundation.
What Mr. Kenyon enjoys most, however, is sharing his knowledge with others. Over the years, he has authored the likes of “Brain States” and “Mind Thieves,” and co-authored “The Magdalen Manuscript” and “The Arcturian Anthology” with his wife, Judi Sion Kenyon. He has also been a presenter of psycho-acoustic immersion seminars since 1993, and has created more than 60 psychoacoustic recordings under the auspices of acoustic brain research. His Sophia Films documentary, “Song of the New Earth: Tom Kenyon and the Power of Sound,” is critically-acclaimed. It takes a look at Mr. Kenyon’s work in the fields of sound healing and psycho-spiritual transformation.
Mr. Kenyon prepared for his endeavors by completing postgraduate studies in Ericksonian Medical Hypnosis at the Southeast Institute for Group and Family Therapy in 1984 and by earning a Master of Arts in psychological counseling from Columbia Pacific University in 1983. That same year, he was certified in whole brain learning by the John David Learning Institute. Mr. Kenyon also holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications, drama and speech from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
As a testament to his success thus far, Mr. Kenyon was honored with the Raymond Taylor Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1970. Looking to the future, he intends to continue traveling the world and educating others
