Jo Ann Scholze Reynolds-Hufner, Retired Principal and Educational Administrator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Teaching.
Dr. Scholze Reynolds-Hufner retired in 1998 as the principal of the Adult Education Center of Palm Beach County, after 30 years shepherding generations of students through almost every level of education. She was notably the founding principal of the Wellington Landings Community Middle School in 1987, and has served students of Florida since first becoming a teacher in 1968. When she was younger, a teacher inspired her to become involved in education. Since then, Scholze Reynolds-Hufner has added article author, curriculum developer, and poet to her resume.
A native of Sarasota, Florida, Dr. Scholze Reynolds-Hufner was born to Joseph Wendling and Frances Scholze. She attended Palm Beach Junior College to earn an AA, followed by a BS and MEd from Florida Atlantic University. In 1987, she completed an EdD from Nova University. Dr. Scholze Reynolds-Hufner had been serving as principal of Palm Beach Public School, and after earning a doctorate she founded Wellington Landings. Dr. Scholze Reynolds-Hufner is a recipient of a 1987 to 1988 Golden Poet Award, and has appeared in Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who of American Women.
