Yung Frank Chiang, Educator at Fordham University, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Law.

Since 1976, Mr. Chiang has been a professor of the School of Law at Fordham, recognized for his dedication to law as a very important tool for society to keep everything peaceful and fair. He started out as a lawyer in Taipei, Taiwan, but remained after studying with Northwestern University in to earn a LLM in 1962, and with the University of Chicago to earn a JD in 1965. Since then he has been a research associate with the prestigious Harvard Law School, and has been president of the Law Faculty Union in Fordham since 2000. Mr. Chiang is the recipient of a 1995 20th Century Achievement Award from the International Biographical Centre, and was selected for the pages of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in American Law, and Who’s Who in the World.

Born in Taichung, Taiwan to Ruey-Ting and Yueh-Yin Chiang, Mr. Chiang attended the National Taiwan University to earn a LLB in 1958, and practiced with the Yen & Lai Law Office in Taipei before arriving in America. Over the years, he has served his adopted home as a delegate for People to People International to China and Hong Kong, as well as a moderator and organizer of five Russian delegations to the U.S. with the People to People Ambassador Program.  In 2005, he was honored as a visiting professor to Chuo University in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Chiang joined Fordham as an associate professor in 1972, and was named a full professor in 1976.

Mr. Chiang has given to his civic community as an organizer and board of directors member of the Taiwan Merchant Association New York from 1976 to 1996, and as a former president of the Formosan Association for Public Affairs. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, former president and director of the board of the North American Taiwanese Professors Association, and a former arbitrator of the National Association of Securities Dealers. Mr. Chiang was honored with inclusion in the Order of the Coif. He is the proud father of Amy P. and David H. with his wife, Quay-Yin Lin. In his free time, Mr. Chiang enjoys reading, skiing, archery, and swimming.
