William R. Jackson, President of Jackson International, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Environmental Health.
As president of Jackson International, Dr. Jackson leads a firm that provides toxic waste remediation and hyperbaric oxygenation medicine. He has been a prolific professional of numerous industries, from his early start as owner and operator of his own janitorial service to various teaching positions in several subjects. Mr. Jackson attributes his success to love for his fellow man and desire to take actions every day to help them have a better life. He is the recipient of an Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievers Award, A Marquis Humanitarian Award, and is recognized as a Marquis Who’s Who Industry Expert.
Born to Richard W. Jackson and Josie P. Jackson in Nampa, Idaho, Dr. Jackson was working as a collection contractor for Montgomery Ward, Inc. when he earned a BA in secondary education from Northwest Nazarene University in 1957, following it with an MA in Secondary Education Administration from the University of Northern Colorado in 1961. Though he found some success as an account manager of Montgomery Ward, he left the industry to work with the Idaho School of Employment before becoming a football coach in 1958. While working on his master’s degree, he taught humanities, speech, and art, and later psychology and economics. He became operator and co-owner of Jackson Brothers Investments through 1984, when he became co-owner of the International Bell Museum Inc. That year, he also became president of Jackson Brothers Industries and Jackson International. He is also the co-founder of the Benevolent Brotherhood Foundation.
Dr. Jackson is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, earned an EdM from the University of Denver in 1964, and holds a PhD from the University of Denver. Additionally, he has completed post doctoral study at at the Stanford University Advanced Management College. His businesses build on his expertise with agriculture, as well as environmental health, and Dr. Jackson has been a senior consultant to the American Environmental Health Foundation as well as a member of the Southwest Research Institute. He is the author or co-author of a number of environmental and microbial science texts, notably “Hyperbaric Oxygenation Effects on the Cognitive Function of Memory” and “The Calcium Deception”. Dr. Jackson is also a poet, and enjoys reading, writing, bartering, travel, gardening, art, oil painting, and the science of Nikola Tesla. He is the proud father of James Lee, Robbi Jo, and Jolynn Kay. Dr. Jackson has been featured in the pages of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in the West, and Who’s Who in the World.
